
Bruno Mercier is a Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager at National Bank Financial. He has been with NBF for his entire career, assisting clients achieve their financial goals. He can provide discretionary portfolio management services which is reserved for those advisors of the highest integrity. Bruno is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) as well as a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM®) and has in-depth options, futures and insurance expertise. Since June 2015, he also has the FCSI® designation. The Fellow of CSI (FCSI®) is the pinnacle credential and highest honor in Canadian financial services. Its stringent experience, education and ethics requirements make it one of the most challenging credentials to obtain and maintain, making FCSIs the most valuable leaders in the industry.
Bruno has won the Portfolio Management Excellent Award in the
Alberta and Okanagan Region three years in a row (2019-2021). Among
many other personal achievements, Bruno has been repeatedly selected
for the firm’s President’s Club which demonstrates the attributes
required of a top advisor.
Caring deeply about giving back to his community, Bruno is an active
member and sits on various boards involved in helping people living in
poverty and those dealing with disabilities. He was recognized in his
region by National Bank Financial with the social commitment
award.
He completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in Biological
Sciences and a minor in Chemistry from the University of
Alberta.
Bruno, his wife and their four children currently reside in Bonnie
Doon. He grew up in the Avonmore district of Edmonton and is the
second in a family of four children. He enjoys skiing, cycling,
camping, woodworking and is hoping to build a sailboat when he
retires.
