Connelly entered the financial services industry in 2003 and has been providing investment advisory services for since 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Management Degree (with distinction) with majors in Finance and Economics from the University of Lethbridge as well as the Chartered Investment Manager CIM® designation from the Canadian Securities Institute. Connelly is licensed through the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) to provide investment advisory services in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. He is also licensed through the Alberta Insurance Council and Insurance Councils of Saskatchewan to provide life insurance services to clients in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Connelly has a background of community service, serving as the Board Chair and volunteer Executive Director for KidSport Medicine Hat & Redcliff since 2004. He also volunteers as a member of Community Futures Entre-Corp's Investment Review Committee helping to promote, grow and foster a vibrant business climate in Medicine Hat & Area. Connelly, his wife Crystal and their two sons enjoy participating in many local sports, cheering on the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Raptors and spending time in the nearby Cypress Hills.
