Little details that matter

So the technology that we have at our firm is excellent. It allowed my team to transition from in-office work to remote quite seamlessly. And also a testament to that is our associate doesn't actually work in the same office as us. So we utilize the technology to communicate as a team daily and definitely depend on it. Well, similar to Martha. My business partner is in a completely different city. We have never worked together in the same office. So all of our client meetings, our connections, virtual remote. And so the technology is really allowed us to streamline our process. A couple of years ago, I had the idea to start being active on Instagram and putting out content that had to do with investment education, particularly targeted to women. And I approached the firm with this idea, and upper management was completely supportive of the idea and continued to be supportive. And it's actually brought fun connections into my life, such as Laurel, because we connect over social media and talk about different ideas to share and content to put out. So it's been fantastic for me. Well, Martha really inspired me because she was on Instagram, so I had a tagline that I trademarked. I had a financial literacy initiative. So I trademarked that tagline. I did a virtual demo and I sent it to upper management and they had amazing feedback, super, super willing to support me in and encourage me. And so I moved forward and I'm on all platforms now. Social media for me has been fantastic with connecting with the next generation of our clients, also within the community, being able to put out content and having people following it. So when I go to events, sometimes I'm recognized by people who aren't even our clients, so that's fantastic. And then there are also people who connect with the content I'm putting out and want to take the next steps and and work with me as an advisor because of my presence on social media. So for the growth of our business, it's it's been fantastic. I agree with the next gen, so our next gen client growth has been terrific. And then also we do a discovery meeting for new clients and I always want to ask what's on their list? What do they want to know about us? And they always say that our digital presence is amazing. They know our story, our approach, our offering. They have a comfort level with us, and so we onboard them to clients very quickly, which is amazing.
