Team Chartier, Grandmaison a story of passion and rigor, growth and adaptation. This explains why our clients choose to entrust us with the management of their wealth and count on us to help them achieve their dreams and goals.
In 1997, François Chartier, CPA, began a new career in financial services
after serving as VP Finance and Strategic Development for a large
company. He quickly partnered with Normand Lefebvre who had started
his career in 1985. During the 25 years or so that Mr. Lefebvre worked
with his clients, he was assisted by Marie-France Matte, his
loyal collaborator, who continues to help our clients today.
In 1999, Hélène Grandmaison joined Normand & François.
Passionate about portfolio management and responsible investing, she
obtained the title of Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS) in 2020
and initiated the integration of environmental, social and governance
(ESG) factors in the choice of investment solutions for our
portfolios.
After more than 12 years of experience in mortgage financing at the
National Bank, Maude Leclerc joined the team in 2015, obtaining
her financial planner designation from the Institut Québécois de la Planification Financière
(IQPF), allowing her to provide a comprehensive support to our
clients and their children.
The ever-increasing level of administrative work in our transforming
industry brought Anne-Marie Philion in 2020 to join the team as
wealth associate. She successfully completed her securities course and
quickly developed the necessary skills to assist François, Hélène and
Maude.
Then, the exponential expansion of the investment universe over the
past few years led the team to recruit an investment analyst in 2019,
Mathieu Guillaumont, who had previously worked at National
Investment Bank for 7 years as a senior portfolio management
analyst.
As the need for financial planning is growing, the team is expanding
in 2021 with the arrival of Audrey Gervais, who also has her
IQPF financial planner designation, to support Maude in the
realization of our clients’ financial projections and plans.
To support the growing team and keep pace with technological and
digital changes, Noémie Chartier joins the team in 2022 as
Communication Associate to manage both our client communications and
team processes. She holds a bachelor's degree in communications and
worked for 6 years in the Bank's internal communications team.
After more than a quarter of a century of accompanying clients in
their financial decisions and wealth management, Team Chartier,
Grandmaison has built a solid reputation thanks to its dedication,
hard work and the trust from clients.
Mr. Normand Lefebvre is the founder of the team.
A seasoned businessman, he was the owner of "Compagnie JP Corbeil Limitée", manufacturer of shoes and Orbit skates. In 1984, he sold his company and the following year joined the firm "Lévesque, Beaubien, Geoffrion" (now National Bank Financial) to pursue a career as a wealth advisor.
After many years of success, he will gradually retire from the management of the team until his retirement in 2007, with François and Hélène ensuring the continuity and development of the business.
