In 1997, François Chartier, CPA, began a new career in financial services after serving as VP Finance and Strategic Development for a large company. He quickly partnered with Normand Lefebvre who had started his career in 1985.
In 1999, Hélène Grandmaison joined Normand & François. She holds the Investment Manager (CIM) designation and is passionate about portfolio management and responsible investing. In 2020, she earned the Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS) designation and initiated the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into the choice of investment solutions for our portfolios.
With over 12 years of experience in mortgage financing at the National Bank, Maude Leclerc joined the team of investment advisors in 2015, after obtaining her designations as a Financial Planner from the Institut Québécois de la Planification Financière (IQPF) and Investment Manager (CIM).
In 2025, Louis-Alexandre Lefebvre continues to pursue his passion for investments by joining the team. Previously Regional Director at National Bank Investments for the distribution of mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and private mandates for over 11 years, his experience and knowledge in portfolio management complement his commitment to helping clients achieve their goals.
The ever-increasing level of administrative work in our transforming industry brought Anne-Marie Philion in 2020 to join the team as senior wealth associate. She previously worked for 10 years in National Bank Financials’ Immigrant Investor Program, then successfully completed her securities course (CSC).
As financial planning needs become increasingly important and in demand among our clients, the team expanded in 2021 with the arrival of Audrey Gervais. Holding the Financial Planner designation from IQPF and a master’s degree in taxation, she also plays a key role in retirement and estate planning as well as in withdrawal strategies.
To support the growing team and keep pace with technological and digital changes, Noémie Chartier joins the team in 2022 as Communication and Business Development Associate to manage both our client communications and team processes. She holds a bachelor's degree in communications and a certificate in Business Management. She has previously worked for 6 years in the Bank's internal communications team.
In March 2024, the team welcomed Alicia Sauro, as an associate. She worked for more than 10 years in administration at the McGill University Health Centre, while completing a certificate in feminist studies and a certificate in administration, which she obtained in 2021.

Mr Normand Lefebvre, founder
Mr. Normand Lefebvre is the Team’s founder.
A seasoned businessman, he was the owner of "Compagnie JP Corbeil Limitée", manufacturer of shoes and Orbit skates. In 1984, he sold his company and the following year joined the firm "Lévesque, Beaubien, Geoffrion" (now National Bank Financial) to pursue a career as a wealth advisor.
After many years of success, he will gradually retire from the management of the team until his retirement in 2007, with François and Hélène ensuring the continuity and development of the business.
