Bruno Mercier is a Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager at National Bank Financial. He is both the visionary and head of the Mercier Wealth Management Group.

Bruno has partnered with National Bank Financial for his entire career helping clients achieve their financial goals. He is currently registered as a Portfolio Manager and can provide discretionary portfolio management services which is reserved for those advisors of the highest integrity. Bruno is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) as well as a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM®) and has in-depth options, futures and insurance expertise. Since June 2015, he also has the FCSI® designation. The Fellow of CSI (FCSI®) is the pinnacle credential and highest honor in Canadian financial services. Its stringent experience, education and ethics requirements make it one of the most challenging credentials to obtain and maintain, making FCSIs the most valuable leaders in the industry.

He completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Alberta.

Among many other personal achievements, Bruno has been repeatedly selected for the firm’s President’s Club which demonstrates the attributes required of a top advisor. He is regularly featured and quoted in local and national media including television and radio.

Caring deeply about giving back to his community, Bruno is an active member and sits on various boards involved in helping people living in poverty and those dealing with disabilities. He was recognized in his region by National Bank Financial with the social commitment award in 2013.

Living in Bonnie Doon, Bruno grew up in the Avonmore district of Edmonton and is the second in a family of four children. Bruno has two boys and two girls of his own and has been married for 18 years. He likes playing Lego with his kids, cycling, woodworking and is hoping to build a sailboat in the future. Bruno values his health and has hired a personal trainer to help him achieve his goals in this area of life.

Graeme’s investment approach is grounded in three fundamental values: integrity, performance and accountability. He is committed to placing his clients’ interests first while providing the services they need, when they need them. Graeme works with you to develop a detailed wealth management plan, taking your entire financial picture into account. He then follows up with regular reporting and communication so you can continue to evaluate his advice.

Graeme graduated from the University of Alberta in 1992 with a Bachelor of Commerce. He is a member with FP Canada and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. Graeme has also obtained the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation and continues to maintain this high level of expertise through due diligence and continuing education. He has appeared in the media to provide commentary on finance and investing issues and has served on the pension committee of a pension plan with more than 1,000 members.

Graeme believes in supporting the community where he works and lives – both financially, through the Sivertson Family Charitable Fund and with his time. He currently serves on the board of the Rallying with Ryder Foundation, Snow Valley Racing Association and was a member of the board, the finance committee and the investment committee at The Compassion House Foundation for a number of years. Graeme has also spent several years as a volunteer soccer and alpine ski racing coach.

He and his wife, Monica, live with their two children in Edmonton where they enjoy exploring the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and travelling.

Jordan Hallman

Wealth Associate

Jordan Hallman is a Wealth Associate at National Bank Financial for SM Financial Group. His primary roles are to assist clients with all money movement requests, scheduling meetings, preparing meeting prep reports, answering any questions you may have, and will periodically touch base to see how you are doing, or when we require information from you.

He has also newly completed his Canadian Securities Course, and the Canadian Standards and Practices Handbook necessary to be securities licensed. He is also currently studying towards his Wealth Management Essentials (WME) certification.

Born and raised in West Edmonton, Jordan is the oldest in the family with two siblings. He has recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta with a major in finance and a minor in psychology. In Jordans free time, he enjoys personal fitness, building computers, playing guitar, skiing and spending time with friends and family.

Nicole Stenger

Nicole Stenger is an Associate at National Bank Financial for the Mercier Group. Her role involves managing database operations, updating various accounts, maintaining effective communication throughout the Mercier Team as well as striving to provide superb customer service for each and every client. Nicole also hopes to become licensed shortly, so she can execute trades on the behalf of clients. Not bilingual yet but aspiring to be, Nicole will be working on the skill too.

Born and raised in southwest Edmonton, Nicole is the first in a family of two siblings. Her family is very close, and she enjoys spending lots of time with them.

Nicole recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in marketing from MacEwan University which provide her various valuable skills which are applicable in her current role at National Bank Financial.

Outside of work, Nicole has been playing soccer since she was four years old, enjoys playing dodgeball in a recreational league and loves spending time with her friends. She adores animals, loves to travel when she can fit it into her schedule and enjoys watching the Edmonton Oilers - whether that be during their successes or their failures.

Elizabeth Cordeau

Elizabeth Cordeau is an Associate with the SM Financial Group at National Bank Financial.  As our service associate, her primary roles include any documentation, reports, and any service-related questions.  

Her knowledge gained through completing her Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta, along with her previous work experience and willingness to learn, makes her well-rounded in management and customer service. 

Elizabeth was born in Quebec but has had the opportunity to live in various countries around the world, including the Netherlands, Germany, Thailand, and multiple different parts of the United States.  She is the oldest of four siblings and is bilingual in both English and French. 

Edmonton is the place she calls home, where she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, as well as her animals! In her spare time, she enjoys reading, horseback riding, gymnastics, and doing agility with her dogs.
