Leib Zeisler has been building wealth for clients since 1982. Leib enjoys developing long-term collaborative relationships with clients, and seeing his strategies and recommendations come to fruition. Prior to joining National Bank Financial in 2018, Leib was a Wealth Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities for over thirty years. He was named to the Executive Council of RBC DS for twenty-five consecutive years. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Leib was an outreach worker with the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa. Leib earned his undergraduate degree (B. Arts, Psychology and Law) from Carlton University.

Amrita has been in the financial industry for over 11 years working at major brokerage firms as a Wealth Associate. She has been a part of the NBF team since October 2017 and with Leib Zeisler's team since January 2019. With her extensive experience and knowledge, Amrita is well equipped to assist in all administrative matters that arise for our clients. She enjoys speaking with clients regarding any questions or inquiries they may have and provides reliable and efficient services. She has successfully completed her Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook course as well as her Wealth Management Essentials Course. She lives in Calgary with her husband and twin boys and loves travelling.

Rebecca Gillies began her career in broadcast journalism before transitioning into the investment industry in 2006. Since 2016, she has been a key member of Leib Zeisler’s team, known for her exceptional client service and relationship-building through a Wealth Management lens. She brings expertise in client relations, cash management, trading, and operational coordination, and is passionate about financial literacy—helping clients understand and feel confident in their investment decisions. Rebecca has completed the Canadian Securities Course, the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course, the Wealth Management Essentials Course, and the firm’s advisor training program. She is committed to continuous learning and staying ahead in the evolving financial landscape. Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys an active lifestyle that includes watersports, snowboarding, yoga, and long-distance running, having completed eight half-marathons.

A welcome addition to the growing Leib Zeisler Wealth Management Team, Rebekah is already proving herself as a great support to our clients and team members alike. She brings with her valuable experience in accounting, small business management, real estate, and dance instruction. Her new role is all tasks related to operations and administration, from account opening and fund transfers to keeping the team’s calendars in good order. Rebekah is committed to fitness, participates in local volleyball leagues and community choir, hosts book club, teaches dance and has a soft spot for the rich culinary scene in Calgary, which she is looking forward to discussing with you anytime.

Melina has completed a BBA, double majoring in Finance and Human Resources, with a concentration in Financial Analytics at Mount Royal University. Through her studies and professional experience, she has developed a strong understanding of financial markets, investment analysis, and organizational strategy. Her background includes roles as a Business Development Coordinator, Equity Research Analyst, and Venture Capital Analyst, where she gained valuable insight into portfolio evaluation, financial modelling, and business growth strategies.

She is currently participating in National Bank Financial’s Young Women Student Mentorship Program, where she is gaining valuable knowledge into wealth management and professional development within the financial industry. Through this mentorship, she continues to build her understanding of portfolio management, client service, and the broader dynamics of the financial advisory process.

Melina is drawn to wealth management as it combines analytical rigour with the opportunity to make a lasting difference in clients' financial future. She is excited to bring her academic and professional experience to the Leib Zeisler Wealth Management Team, where she hopes to further develop her professional experience and contribute to the team’s ongoing success and excellence.

Motivated by a strong interest in finance and a commitment to continuous learning, Melina looks forward to growing her expertise within the team. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time outdoors, skiing, hiking, and playing pickleball, as well as participating on a multi-sport team.
