Update on COVID-19 - A word from the president

Dear Clients and Friends,

At National Bank Financial – Wealth Management (NBFWM), we are very conscious of and sensitive to the growing concerns related to COVID-19. We want to assure you that we are dedicated to supporting you throughout this period of instability. I want to personally reiterate our continued commitment to you and inform you of the actions taken by our organization.

In collaboration with an emergency response team which includes an infectious disease specialist, we have implemented several preventative measures to ensure your health and safety, as well as that of our employees. This team meets daily to reassess the situation and proactively address any new developments. Please find below an overview of the measures implemented so far:

  • All employees whose function allows them to work remotely will do so until further notice.
  • All our professionals have the tools to continue to serve you and we do not anticipate any service interruptions. Even though our branches are closed, you can reach your wealth management advisor team as usual.
  • Our systems and transactional tools have been tested. Regardless of where our employees are working, your data is safe.
  • Remote meetings are now strongly recommended.
  • We have improved our hygienic practices and have increased the cleaning frequency at all our sites.
  • Antiviral products have already been installed in National Bank locations for clients and employees.
  • All business trips, as well as all NBFWM events, have been canceled or postponed.
  • All personal trips outside Quebec are canceled according to the recommendations of Government advisories (including isolation measures after a return trip).
