After five years in financial services at another major Canadian bank, Xavier joined National Bank Financial after completing his bachelor’s degree in finance and a certificate in financial planning. He also has a financial and insurance services background and has completed the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) and Canadian Securities Course (CSC) training. He won numerous scholarships during his university career, including one from National Bank for academic excellence in finance and one from the Institut québécois de planification financière for his excellence in financial planning.
Xavier has always been drawn to finance and capital markets and wanted to work in the field of securities. Finance is a vocation for him, and being on the team allows him to channel his knowledge and passion on a daily basis.
Xavier is organized, rigorous, and curious, and is particularly committed to the wellbeing of clients while upholding his core values of respect, integrity, and honesty.
In his spare time, Xavier can be found poring over his books on finance and economics or cooking. He is also a very good runner and loves to travel.
