After eight years of experience in the world of capital markets in institutional sales, Daniel became a founding partner of Goepel Shields/Raymond James Securities Ltd in 1989 and ran the Quebec operations for twelve years. In 2008, Daniel then obtained the Portfolio Manager designation. Daniel provides services to high net worth clients at National Bank Financial since 2002. He is a graduate from the Faculty of Management of McGill University, the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal, as well as a member of the Quebec Bar. He also holds an MBA from IMD in Switzerland and the title of Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) since 2008.President of the McGill Management Class of 1976, Daniel also sits on various advising boards such as McGill’s faculty of Music, the “Concours de musique international de Montréal“ and Bishop’s College School. He also organizes an annual fund-raising event for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Association.

Marcel began his career at the NBC in 1996 at the discount brokerage division. In 2004, he became an investment advisor at the NBF. In 2009, he obtained the title of Portfolio Manager. Marcel is a chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM). Following his bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Finance) in 1996 at the Hautes Études Commerciales, Marcel then pursued post graduate studies in finance at the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2002.Marcel is also the 2003 recipient of the CSI Silver Award for outstanding results obtained in the portfolio management methods course. He is a Fellow of the CSI since 2003.

Further to obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering in spring 2011, Rory studied in the Goodman Institute of Investment Management program at Concordia University, a three-year MBA program that fully integrates the CFA body of knowledge into its curriculum, while working full time in Capital Markets. He joined the Lalonde-Doyon group as portfolio manager in 2015.

Being driven by opportunity found in a dynamic work environment, coupled with his engineering and finance background, Rory worked on the National Bank Global Equity Derivatives desk and gained experience in quantitative finance.

In parallel to his academic pursuits, Rory worked for many years as an integration aid with autistic children. This experience exposed him to many challenging and delicate situations. Presently, Rory volunteers his time with the MUHC Foundation.

Bassam holds an MBA and the Certified Management Accountant designation, which he earned in 2007. He is also a Financial Planner. Bassam became a Private Banker in 2009, putting his diverse experience to serve high net worth clients who seek exceptional, personalized service. His grasp of wealth management is based on his customer service experience, as well as his business knowledge. He is attuned to his clients' financial concerns-whether they revolve around retirement planning or managing day-to day financial needs. Bassam joined the Lalonde-Doyon Group in December 2018.

Bassam is involved in several charitable organizations, either as a volunteer or as a board member: the F.E.Lib Foundation (2013-2016 as Vice-President), the Canada-Lebanon Chamber of Commerce (2016 and 2017 as Director), and he currently serves on the board of the Gérard-Delage Foundation.

Christophe started working with the Lalonde-Doyon Group at the National Bank Financial in 2016 while completing his Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.A) at HEC Montreal. Recently promoted to wealth advisor, he is currently completing a master's degree in applied financial economics (M. sc.), also at HEC Montreal.

Passionate about sports, Christophe had a brief career as a professional soccer player. His athletic background has notably allowed him to develop a work ethic and interpersonal skills. His analytical mind and general knowledge also make him an excellent addition to the Lalonde-Doyon Group.

Julie completed her college studies at Jeande Brébeuf and obtained her bachelors in Management at HEC. Thereafter, Julie jumpstarted her career and worked for CIBC Wood Gundy. Since 2003, she has been an essential part of the Lalonde Doyon team.

Julie mainly handles the transactional activities. Her main tasks involve: phone calls, buying and selling transactions, REORG announcements, Ambassador accounts, funds conversion, correction of transactions, negotiations of interest rates, dividend reinvestments, substitutions, fee verification and any other transaction related activities.

Manon Tremblay

Manon has worked in the financial sector since 1981 and graduated from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in 1987. She made her debut at the National Bank of Canada (BNC) and later at Lévesque, Beaubien (FBN). She joined the Lalonde-Doyon team in April 2011.

Over the years, she has acquired invaluable experience in both financial securities and customer service. Her capacity to solve problems and her daily attention to details definitely add value to clients. Manon continuously keeps up to date with all new applications/software and tools to provide an excellent customer service experience.

Manon is mainly in charge of the quality of our customer service. Her tasks involve: the preparation of monthly portfolio revisions, phone calls, appointments booking, the preparation and update of various documents, monitoring and updating customer files, quarterly bulletins and preparing monthly and quarterly reports for our Dividend Plus portfolios.

Caroline Piette

Caroline graduated from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) and has over ten years of experience in the financial services industry. Caroline also worked for nine years in human resources, which positions her as the designated person to offer a courteous and effective customer service experience while supporting account operations and administrative tasks. Caroline joined the Lalonde-Doyon Group in January 2019.

Caroline handles a wide range of administrative activities. Her main tasks consist in: phone calls, opening accounts, updating client files, seeking for missing documents, electronic and bank transfers, internal and external transfers, RRSP withdrawals, RIF payments, RRSP and RESP contributions and any other administrative duties.

Maryline Laurendeau

Marilyne holds a diploma of professional studies in accounting. She has been working for National Bank Financial since 2005. Marilyne has held several positions in the operational department as well as the legal department. Her experience at National Bank Financial has helped culminate her excellent customer service.

Marilyne joined the Lalonde Doyon Group in August 2020. She is currently completing her Canadian Securities Course.

Marilyne’s primary role is to manage administrative tasks and facilitate all new client onboarding.

Marie-Josée Daoust

Marie-Josée graduated from Mc Gill University, with a Bachelor of Commerce.  She has had several years of experience in Commercial Banking as an Account Manager.  She joined Lalonde-Doyon Group in November 2020, and is completing her degree from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).  Her past experience enables her to offer an effective and personalized customer service experience.

Marie-Josée handles a wide range of administrative activities. Her main tasks consist in: phone calls, opening accounts, updating client files, seeking for missing documents, electronic and bank transfers, internal and external transfers,  RRSP and RESP contributions and any other administrative duties.

Gabriel joined the Lalonde-Doyon Group in May 2021. He was an intern while finishing his Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Finance, Minor in Real Estate) at John Molson School of Business. Now graduated, he has joined us as an assistant while studying for the CFA Level 1 exam.
