Rob has over 35 years of investment experience specializing in Wealth Management and over 30 years as the former Manager of Chatham Branch of National Bank Financial. Over 30 years of Rob’s investment career has been at National Bank Financial in Chatham, Ontario. Rob is a Senior Wealth Advisor & Portfolio Manager.

Rob attended Wilfrid Laurier University where he earned an Honours Bachelors of Business Administration. Rob played varsity football while at Laurier earning his Letterman Jacket, Rob also graduated as the first male recipient of the AAA Award (highest grade point average for a male varsity athlete). Rob is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and he has completed a Certificate in Estate Planning and Trust Strategy. Rob continued his education by completing the requirements for the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI), Rob has his Level 2 Life Insurance License and he is a Personal Financial Planner (PFP). He is licenced in many Provinces in Canada and US States.

Rob has been an active volunteer in the local community serving on the Board of Directors of the Chatham-Kent Family Health Team for 8 years. He was also active in Doctor recruitment for 10 years. Rob has also been a Rotarian for over 30 years in Chatham receiving a Paul Harris Fellow Award. Rob was recognized for his volunteering by the Province of Ontario when he received the Ontario Volunteer Service Award. Rob has also been recognized by the Chatham Chamber of Commerce as Business Professional of the Year – Business Excellence Awards. He was also Coach of the Year as awarded by the Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame for his success coaching a basketball team to win an Ontario Provincial Championship.

In addition to his community awards, Rob has received many industry and firm awards: Wealth Management Excellence of the Year, Social Commitment Award, Awards of Excellence for Portfolio Management Excellence – National Finalist, Semi-Finalist Award of Distinction – Ontario for two years in a row.

Rob and his wife Kellie have 1 son, 2 daughters, 1 son-in-law, 1 daughter-in-law and 3 granddaughters. For recreation, Rob and Kellie love to travel. In the summer you will find them on their boat wakeboarding or teaching others to wakeboard. In the winter they are avid snow skiers, and Rob plays regular pick-up hockey.
