Ariel started her career in the financial industry in 2010 and is dedicated to her continuing education and developing skill set in our ever changing investment industry. As a licenced Wealth Associate, her role on the team is to support and maintain the deep respect and commitment of care to our client relationships. She will be assisting with both the administration of our business and with trading execution. As the mother of 2 sporty kids, when she isn’t working, she is running from the hockey rink, to the dance studio, to the batting cages, and everywhere in between. In the rare moments of quiet, she’ll be nose deep in a book, and dreaming of her favourite kind of rainy days on Vancouver Island.  

A welcome addition to the Dahms Wealth Management team, Daniel continues to deliver top notch investment advice combining financial planning, tax efficiencies, and estate consideration for our clients. Being part of a larger team has allowed for Dan to take advantage of the synergies and resources that have developed from being in our South office. 

After graduating from the University of Calgary and traveling abroad for a year, Daniel joined National Bank Financial Wealth Management in 1997 as an Wealth Advisor. Over the past 20 years, Daniel has provided guidance and direction to multigenerational clients who trust his open and honest communication and transparent financial principles.

Daniel is passionate about building clients an all-inclusive financial plan that creates the income and the growth they desire, while ensuring that they achieve their goals to protect their family and/or business. This continuous and cohesive detail to planning is the cornerstone to reinforcing the peace of mind and the aspirations for our clients.

Married to his high school sweetheart and along with their two teenage daughters, the Russell family lives a dynamic life filled with family, friends, sport, and adventure. In the past, Daniel served as a board member and Treasurer for the Community Crisis Society in Strathmore, as well as volunteered in Tijuana, Mexico building homes for families with the Homes for Hope Foundation.
