Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Brad attended Lakehead University and graduated with first class standing in 2004, receiving an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (HBcomm), double majoring in Finance and Accounting. He went on to achieve his Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation in 2008 and most recently completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2019.
Brad began his career in financial services with RBC in 2006 and was quickly promoted to the position of Financial Planner-Investment and Retirement Planning (FP-IRP). Over his 13 years at RBC Brad was achieved numerous awards and recognition for continued top performance, culminating in being aware the “Chairman’s round table” award, which is given to the top 1% of Financial Planners-Investment and Retirement Planning at RBC. Brad has always put the needs and financial well-being of his clients first and he wanted to make sure he chose an employer who did the same. So in 2019 he made the decision to move his practice to National Bank Financial Wealth Management. The culture, teamwork, access to planning tools and products, a supporting team of dedicated experts, and the mission statement of making a “positive impact” in the lives of clients, were all the qualities that told Brad that National was the right fit.
Brad enjoys giving back to the community having worked with many organizations including the United Way, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation, and the kinsmen. He is always looking forward to helping Thunder Bay grow, prosper and achieve its full potential.
Since arriving at National, Brad has continued to be recognized for his hard work and dedication to clients, most recently being awarded the 2020 “Rising Star of the Year, Prairies and Atlantic.” He continues to work hard to make a difference and have a positive impact in the lives of his clients. He looks forward to working with his existing and new clients for years to come.
