Craig Mallender

Investment Advisor, Portfolio Manager

Craig is the CEO of Mallender Wealth Management Group, and is responsible for overall operations. With his Portfolio Manager designation, Craig also heads up our Investment Management Team. Craig was been working with individual and institutional investors in Windsor and Essex County for over 30 years.

Born and raised in Windsor, Craig is a graduate of the University of Windsor and majored in Business Finance and Economics. Following graduation, he spent 2 years pursuing a professional football career with the Edmonton Eskimos. In 1983 while in Edmonton he was presented with an opportunity to move to Toronto and train in the area of Investment Management. Shortly thereafter he was transferred back to Windsor and began building his practice and serving clients.

In 1991, Craig was promoted to the position of Branch Manager, a position he has held with various firms. In 1995, he was recruited by TD Bank to open and grow the TD Evergreen office in Windsor. Starting as the only employee Craig grew the TD Evergreen office to over a dozen employees. After his success at TD, NBF recruited Craig in 2002 and they partnered up to grow the NBF brand and presence in Windsor and Essex County. He is Branch Manager and VP of the NBF Windsor office.

During his time at NBF Craig has obtained prestigious designation of “Portfolio Manager”. A Portfolio Manager has the highest level of qualification in the industry, and possesses professional distinctions that testify to their ability and their commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards. Throughout Craig’s career, he has prided himself on getting to know his clients, understanding their individual circumstances, and to provide them the most important thing a Portfolio Manager can do: “Peace of Mind”

Outside the office, Craig continues to be a real sports enthusiast, and is an active runner, cyclist and golfer. More than anything, Craig is extremely proud of his 2 daughters, who are out pursuing their career dreams.
