Biidaasigue Park

This past July, Toronto opened 10 new acres in Biidaasige Park.  If you are not familiar with this park, it is a new waterfront destination at the bottom of the Don Valley Parkway.  You can paddle the new stretch of the Don River, walk or cycle the paths, fish and even take a ferry into downtown Toronto.  This park shows how you can integrate flood protection, ecological restoration and public space.  Impressive!
